Phil Filmore is a 20 year veteran in the Health and Fitness Industry and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council of Exercise. He has worked in numerous health clubs with hundreds of clients performing personal training and nutrition services and bootcamp classes. Phil also maintains USA Boxing licenses to both box and coach the sport. He is also certified in Nutrition through USA Diet Plans. Phil has earned recognition as an Elite Golden Gloves Boxer with numerous victories under his belt. Persistence and hard work have motivated Phil to remain an active participant in fitness with a focus on marathon running and cycling. Phil believes there are many components to being a great trainer. At the top of his list are: always listening to client’s goals, assessing, reassessing, and ultimately creating workouts that are fun! After many years of working in fitness clubs across the country, Phil is excited to announce the opening of his own fitness center. Snap Fitness - Setauket is scheduled to be open in the Fall of 2010. Phil will be bringing his years of experience and knowledge together to create the ultimate workout experience. Snap Fitness is a state-of-the-art 24/7 fitness center that gives you access to cardio and strength training equipment that sets industry standards. Before any workout plan is put in place, an individualized assessment will be performed and your feedback will be evaluated to help customize your long-term fitness program.

What you eat can factor into your energy level, ability to concentrate, ability to lose and maintain a healthy weight, contribute to disease risk factors, effect cravings and even your mental well being. Filmore Fitness can help you with your weight loss plans, strategies to boost your immune system, and overall weight stabilization. Your nutrition plan will be individualized and carefully constructed according to the information obtained from one-on-one meetings with you.
